The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to launch at the end of this year or the beginning of the following year as Xiaomi‘s next lineup of flagships. The Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro are anticipated to be the first two products in the Xiaomi 13 series. A picture of the Xiaomi 13 Pro’s front panel has recently surfaced on Weibo, giving some indication of the device’s features. Let’s look at it.
Xiaomi 13 Pro Leaked Image
Similar to the Xiaomi 12 Pro, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is depicted in the leaked image as having a curved display with a hole-punch display in the centre. It depicts the smartphone’s “About Phone” screen, which lists the name of the device as “Nuwa” and the model number 2210132C. Although the ‘Nuwa’ codename has previously been connected to the Xiaomi 13’s base model, the leaker has now posted the image as a Xiaomi 13 Pro image.

The ‘About Phone’ page also shows the Xiaomi 13 Pro running MIUI 14 on Android 13 with 12GB RAM and the option to expand it by 3GB. The Xiaomi 13 Pro’s About Phone page does not mention the processor’s name, only that it will be a 3GHz octa-core chip, but previous rumours have suggested the presence of Qualcomm’s next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is expected to launch in November.
Previous rumours claimed that the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were manufactured under the codenames Nuwa and Fuxi, respectively. The Nuwa codename has previously been connected to the Xiaomi 13, even though numerous reports suggest the leaked image is of the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The leaker, however, claimed that it was the image of the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The Nuwa codename was previously connected to the Xiaomi 13, not the Xiaomi 13 Pro, according to the Weibo tweet from @experiencemore, which we at 91Mobiles were unable to independently verify the legitimacy of the image.

Previous rumours around the Xiaomi 13 series have suggested that the Xiaomi 13 series will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Previous rumours said that the Xiaomi 13 Pro would have a 6.7-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Three 50-megapixel cameras are reportedly part of the triple rear camera arrangement of the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The smartphone was said to include 50W rapid wireless charging as well as 100W fast cable charging in the past.
