Xioami Redmi Note 8 pro has now introduced a new Ocean Blue colour variant. This new colour variant will join the existing lineup of Shadow Black, Gamma Green, and Halo White hues. Ocean Blue colour variant comes with the same specifications as the previous ones.

To recall, Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 pro is a premium looking smartphone with an elegant glass body design. The Phone sports a waterdrop notch enabled 6.53-inch IPS LCD display that produces 1080 x 2340 pixels full HD+ resolution. Display does provides a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 395 ppi density. The front and back of the device is well protected by corning gorilla glass 5. If we talk about display features it comes with 500 nits max brightness and supports HDR.
In the camera department, Redmi Note 8 pro does packs with quad rear camera module which consists of 64 MP primary sensor, its a Samsung’s GW1 shooter. The secondary camera is a 8 MP sensor with ultra-wide-angle lens accompanied by 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP dedicated macro lens. There is a 20 MP selfie shooter is housed on the front teardrop notch.
Under the hood, Redmi Note 8 pro is packed with Mediatek Helio G90T SoC paired with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM. There is an onboard storage of up to 256GB (128GB in india) which can be further expanded up to 256GB via shared SIM slot.
Redmi Note 8 pro runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 (pie) operating system. Phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast-charging. Device does comes with IR blaster, NFC and Rear mounted finger print scanner.
Phone connectivity includes Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C and FM Radio. The sensors on this phone includes Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
