Vivo V25e sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 1080 x 2404 pixels resolution, 409 PPI density. The AMOLED panel on top seems to be quite vivid and colorful. Viewing angels seems to be great for watching movies or playing games. It comes with a dimension of 159.2 x 74.2 x 7.8 mm (6.27 x 2.92 x 0.31 in) (Height x Width x Thickness) and weighs 183 grams. Phone does not feels heavy in hands and it’s ergonomic design makes it easy to hold. It does bears Glass front, glass back and plastic frame body design. Device looks very refreshing and youthful. Phone comes with 6.44-inch display which doesn’t seems so big and you might not feel any difficulty using this phone if you have a short palm. Volume and power Button placement are placed on the right side and they are easy to reach so you won’t feel much issues using those. If we talk about some of the other positives, Vivo V25e comes with IP54, dust and water resistant certification which makes it even more favorable. Color changing back panel makes this smartphone even more beautiful and premium.

Talking about the Optics, Vivo V25e comes with a triple camera setup at the back which consists of 64MP primary sensor with wide angle lens having f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. Secondary camera comes with 2MP macro lens having f/2.4 aperture. While the tertiary camera on this module comes with 2MP depth sensor lens having f/2.4 aperture. Rear Camera performs very well in day light conditions. Images taken from rear camera are very well saturated and natural color pops up. Phone might not stand-up to your expectations when it comes to indoor or low light conditions. We felt images were bit soft and did lacked details. We believe future updates may resolve this issue. Rear camera hold features like LED flash, HDR, panorama. It can record 1080p@30fps.

On the front side, Vivo V25e is packed with 32MP sensor have wide angle lens with f/2.0 aperture for nice quality selfies. If you love to post selfies on Instagram or any other social media this smartphone won’t disappoint you. Selfies taken in low light were decent and usable. We were overall satisfied with the camera performance considering the price of the smartphone.

RAM and Internal Storage

Vivo V25e comes with Octa-core processor which is paired along with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. Phone does also comes along with 8GB of RAM while it offers 256GB of onboard internal storage. Phone comes with shared SIM slot which means you can insert 2 SIMs or a SIM card and memory card. Phone can perform heavy multi-tasking without any issues. We didn’t faces any lags or hangs for a long usage of 2-3 hours which is quite impressive. Device is well capable for playing low to medium graphic games without any frame drops. Phone does struggles a bit when it comes to play games high graphic display settings. If you wish to play heavy graphic games like PUBG, ASPHLAT 8, Mortal Kombat or COD on highest graphic settings, this smartphone might disappoint you as you will face frequent lags and frame drops while playing..

OS and Battery

Vivo V25e comes with Funtouch 12 based on Android 12 operating system. Phone’s UI seems to be very clean and smooth. If you are a mobile enthusiast you will surely love to play around with it’s UI. Phone drives the energy from 4500 mAh battery that supports 44W fast battery charging. Phone takes around 55-60 minutes to charge the mobile completely.

Connectivity and Sensors

Vivo V25e include connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.2, A2DP, LE, and USB Type-C port. Mobile does lacks supports for 5G connectivity which means you cannot enjoy really fast internet connection on this smartphone. It does also lacks Wifi 6 feature which is bit disappointing. Sensors on the phone includes Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass. The under display, optical fingerprint sensor on this smartphone is very fast and accurate. Phone just takes flash of a second to unlock your smartphone.

In our opinion, Vivo V25e is a decent smartphone to go for if you have nominal usage or if you are looking for a budget smartphone. Smartphone comes with a premium design look, the MediaTek Helio G99 processor on Vivo V25e is quite powerful to handle all day to day task easily which does adds up to the positives. But if heavy graphic gaming or taking clear pictures in low light conditions is your priority then this smartphone is not for you. Even if you want fast 5G experience this mobile will underestimate you as it lacks 5G band support.
