Today we will do a comparison review of two budget devices from the house of Samsung , We will do a comparison review between Samsung Galaxy F41 and Samsung Galaxy M31. Design- If we talk about Samsung Galaxy F41, it comes with 6.4 inch size having a bezel less design which gives a full display. It comes with a plastic body with round curved edges on the sides which makes it easy to grab. With a weight of 191g it feels good in hands and it is easy to hold While Samsung Galaxy M31 does also come with a 6.4 inch size with a full view display. Has a thickness of around 8.9mm and weighs 191g it also has round edges on the sides and has a smooth finish which makes it look very premium. Both devices look pretty premium despite having a plastic body.
Display- Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with FHD+ super AMOLED Display panel with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340, getting a picture density of 403ppi. While on Samsung Galaxy M31 we also get FHD+ display with screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, getting picture density of 403ppi. Display on both the smartphones looks very colorful and saturated. Text and icons does also looks much clear and sharp.
Camera- Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with a triple camera set up at the back housing 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra wide angle lens and 5 MP depth sensor lens. While having a 32MP camera on the front side. Camera can take good quality photos with high detailing in different lighting conditions. It comes with multiple features like HDR, Selfie portrait mode. Having different modes like face beauty, panorama, HDR, professional, videos and time-lapse photography. The Samsung Galaxy M31 does houses a quad camera set-up at the back and it comes with a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 5MP depth and 5MP macro lens. There is a 32MP selfie camera with AI, it also performs very good in all lighting conditions and it also provides different modes like HDR, Panorama, Beauty and many others. The front selfie camera on both the smartphones comes with AI-enhanced beautification mode works very well and is quite handy to make desirable changes manually if required.
Battery – Both the smartphones are packed with 6000mAh battery which can lasts up to 19-20 hours. In terms of charging both smartphones support 15W fast charging.
Performance– Both the smartphones are powered by Octacore based Exynos 9611 SoC. Both the smartphones are accompanied by Mali-G72 MP3 and has a configuration of up to 6GB of RAM and upto 128GB of onboard storage. Phone can handle gaming and heavy multitasking at ease. Both the smartphones boots on One UI 2.1 based on the Android 10 operating system. No heating ever felt on any of the above devices while playing games or after a long use. Both the devices carry all major sensors like Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Compass and Gyroscope.
Our Verdict – Value for Money
Both the devices perform very well and have nice premium looks despite having a plastic body. Both the devices performs same as both are powered by Exynos 9611 SoC. If your preference is performance you can go for any of the smartphones but if taking macro pictures is your preference you should consider Samsung Galaxy M31 as it houses a 5MP macro sensor. As on 31st Oct 2020, Samsung Galaxy F41 costs Rs. 16,499 for 6GB/64GB variant while you need to shed Rs. 16,877 for Samsung Galaxy M31 6GB/64GB variant.
