Redmi 9i to launch in India soon is a rebranded version of Redmi 9A

After the launch of Xiaomi Redmi 9 in India few days back, Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi is expected to launch Redmi 9i in India which is rumoured to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 9A that was launched alongside the Redmi 9C in Malaysia. 

As per the report by PriceBaba, Xiaomi Redmi 9i is expected to offer 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB configurations. If we talk about colors, the phone is expected to be available in Nature Green, Sea Blue and Midnight Black colour options.

As we already mentioned, Xiaomi Redmi 9i is expected to a rebranded version of the Redmi 9A. If it’s true, we can expect 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD capacitive panel with 720 x 1600 pixels resolutions. Screen will offer 20:9 aspect ratio and 269 ppi density. There will be notch at the front which houses the front camera.

Phone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio G25 paired along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of configurations phone is expected to come with 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB storage options. We can expect 5,000mAh battery on this smartphone. In terms of UI, phone is expected to boot on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 Operating system.

If we talk about the optics, phone might come with 13 megapixels primary camera sensor having wide angle lens. There will be a 5 megapixels camera sensor on the front for decent selfie experience.

Xiaomi Redmi 9i Price (Expected)

Redmi 9A was launched at an introductory price tag of RM 359  or roughly Rs 6,300 for 2GB +32GB variant. If Redmi 9i is a rebranded version of Redmi 9A and if it comes with 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB storage options we can expect higher price in India.
