Realme has started rolling out new update with November security patch for it’s Realme XT in India. The new OTA update brings in Nightscape mode for the front camera, Optimization of photo clarity while using whatsApp, Optimizing wide-angle video quality by the rear camera, Fixing of crash issues while to to ULTRA 64 MP mode, Fixation of various issues related to display and connectivity.
The new update for Realme XT is carried by the build number RMX1921EX_11.A.12 and the update is about 2.84GB in Size. It is based on Android (9.0) Pie with the ColorOS 6.1 skin on top. Though Realme has promised an android 10 for Realme XT in the first quarter of 2020

The Realme XT update was rolled out through OTA and was also notified by Realme on it’s Official community forum. If you haven’t received the OTA yet you can download the update package from realme software update portal.
How to update Realme XT manually ?
If you are trying to update Realme XT manually please do follow the below mentioned instructions
- First download the update package (RMX1921EX_11.A.12) to your phone or to your laptop, if it is downloaded to your phone directly it’s fine else you need to transfer the firmware you downloaded to your phone storage.
- Go to File Manager and find the firmware, click on the firmware, Update Now and wait for update to succeed.
Note –
- Please keep in mind to back-up your data before updating : Settings->Additional Settings->Back Up and Reset->Backup & Restore, select the Data to Be Backed up.
- Please keep the battery level over 30%
- Please do not turn off your phone during the update process
As we informed earlier the new update has introduced Nightscape mode for the front camera which will now help you to take clear images in low light conditions, Optimization has been done improve photo clarity while using WhatsApp’s in-app camera. Update helps Optimize wide-angle video quality of rear camera and noise in the dark environments. Now you will get more clear pictures from your main 64MP sensor as the update has worked towards the optimized the clarity of the images taken by the main ULTRA 64 MP sensor.
The Realme XT latest Update has fixed the issues related to fingerprints recognition, It has fixed the registration problems with a VoWi-Fi network to the partial carrier and did fixed the bugs responsible for partial display.
