Hello, guys today we are doing Realme 6i Review with all pros and cons in it. Realme 6i was launched few months back with some of the very best specs under a budgeted price of Rs. 15000 in India. We have done Realme 6i review on the basis of Design, Display, Camera, Performance and battery. First we will get to know some specifications about Realme 6i and after that we will review all the specifications So without wasting much time let’s get started.

Phone does comes with a large 6.5 inch display and a punch hole selfie camera which makes it look like a premium phone and at the same time this phone is lightweight too, the main reason behind it is the right weight distribution. Device gives a very premium feel But the back plastic cover appearance missed out the glass finish.This device fits right in hands, round curved edges provides a perfect grip. 

There is a camera bump at the back which is very annoying, besides this the back panel is very much attracted to smudges, just use it for 5 minutes and you will get a couple of fingerprint marks at the back. It is advisable to use a case to protect the edges, glass of camera module and to get rid of unwanted fingerprint marks.

Realme 6i comes with Corning gorilla glass 3 protection at the front which can save the device from low accidental drops and at the back it has a plastic frame. Phone does comes with P2i coating which makes it splash proof. Please do not try by pouring water on it as any water damages will not be covered.

If we talk about the front, the bezels are very thin and it also has a small chin at the bottom. We can say design is good and you will love it. Now if we talk about display, the 6.5inch FHD+ display is very much colorful and vibrant, though it comes with IPS LCD panel still the picture quality and color reproduction is something to look out for. No issues faced while using it under direct sun. Text looks very much sharp and clear.

Realme 6i boots on Realme UI which is based on Android 10, The UI is not clean as what we get on stock android, Realme UI does not include the government banned Chinese apps but it does have some pre-installed Chinese Apps which can be uninstalled, Phone does comes with Ads which is very annoying. If you love simple UI then Realme UI may not disappoint you, you don’t need to dedicate much time sometime on it’s UI to understand it.

Phone is powered by Octa-core processor which is paired along with Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T processor, It can easily perform any task thrown at it as it has a fast gaming processor which is not usually seen in a low budget smartphone under a cap of 15k and the screen refresh rate is 90Hz which is quite suitable for heavy gaming experience. We loved playing PUBG and Asphalt 9 on this device, gaming performance was very good as considered to it’s price range. According to me this phone has the best processor under 15k price ranging segments. The main highlight of this phone is the smoothness of the processor.

Device does comes with face unlock which works perfectly well. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on this device which is easy to reach and the response time is very quick and accurate.

The sound from the single Speaker at the bottom is great though it’s not a stereo speaker but the sound quality is quite loud.

Realme 6i Battery

Battery is one not the main USP of this smartphone, Phone comes with 4300mAh battery which can easily survive for a day with moderate usage and a half day with a heavy usage. It does comes with 20W fast battery charging which takes around 70-80 minutes to charge the mobile completely but the phone also support 30W fast charging though it does not comes in the box. This phone has a heating issue and you can feel that after 1 hour of hardcore gaming. There should be a bigger battery for a good usage but anyways it comes with a decent battery backup.

Yes, Camera is again one of the main USP of this smartphone, let’s first talk about the front camera, there is a 16MP snapper at the front which is a punch hole camera which is placed on the corner, front camera is well capable of capturing enough light, the dynamic range and the color reproduction are very much natural. You will surely love the details of the selfies. All we can say is it has got a decent selfie camera under the budget of 15K segment.

If we talk about back camera sensors, there is a quad camera setup at the back where it comes with 48MP primary sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide angle sensor, 2 MP macro sensor and 2 MP depth sensor. The dynamic range of the back camera is quite impressive, it is well capable of capturing enough light for a detailed image. Portrait from the rear camera comes to be refined and detailed. Performance of Super Nightscape mode on this phone is phenomenon as it gives excellent and detailed photos in low light conditions. This phone has some features like Chrome Boost,Ultra 48MP mode if we talk about Video recording, the mobile does it works, it can record nice quality 4K and full HD+ videos, it does comes with Gyro-EIS which helps to record shake free videos.

All new Realme 6i is a power packed device at this price and has no less features as compared to Realme 6. The main UPI of this device is its processor and the 90hz screen refresh rate.

There is a difference of INR ₹2000 between the Realme 6 and the indian specific 6i with the same storage configuration of 4/64GB model. The price of Realme 6i starts from ₹13,000.

Realme 6i is a good choice for those who wanted to buy Realme 6 at a reduced cost. There are very less differences between both the gadgets. The Realme 6i is a good option for those who want a gaming phone at a pocket friendly price as this device is powered by Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T and it also comes with a big screen size of 6.5 inches with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz.
