GoPro Hero 11 Specs and Features
GoPro has just released two new action cameras, the Hero 11 Black and Hero 11 Black Mini. Both cameras feature a new 10-bit sensor, 27 megapixels, and an aspect ratio of 8:7.
The new action cameras’ unusual aspect ratio makes them ideal for creation.Without losing much detail, you can crop the image to fit TikTok’s 9:16 aspect ratio, YouTube’s 9:16 aspect ratio, or Instagram’s 1:1 aspect ratio.
That’s a big deal because it means you won’t need multiple cameras or takes to get content for all of your platforms. Because the Hero 11 Black has the same shell as the previous version, all GoPro Mods will work with it. It’s also available as a Creator Edition, which includes the Volta battery grip.
Both cameras share a common core, which is built around the sensor and includes all of GoPro’s image processing tweaks. Image stabilisation, Hypersmooth 5.0, and a new HyperView digital lens are among them.
They also include GoPro’s new Enduro battery technology. It is detachable on the Hero 11 Black and built-in on the Mini. That Mini is essentially a smaller version of the Hero 11 Black, minus the external screens.
It’s small as a result, and it has two sets of mounting fingers, giving you more options for where to stick it.
GoPro Hero Price and Availability
The GoPro Hero 11 Black is available as a standalone camera or as part of the Creator Edition. However, the pricing is a little strange.
The standalone camera costs $499, while the Creator Edition costs $699.99. If you buy from GoPro and get a GoPro Subscription, you will receive a $100 discount.
The GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini is available for $399.99 without a GoPro Subscription or $299.99 with one.
That will be available on October 25th.
