Today we will do a comparison review of two budget devices from the house of Realme , We will do a comparison review between Realme 7i and Realme 6i. Mobile Comparison is based on Design, Display, Camera, Battery, Overall all performance and value for money aspect. Without wasting much time let’s compare Realme 7i vs Realme 6i to find which mobile is better to purchase.
Note – We have compared Realme 6i (Indian variant) with Realme 7i, Please do net get confused with Realme 6i global variant.
Design- If we talk about Realm 7i it comes with 6.5 inch size having a bezel less design which gives a full display. It comes with a plastic body with round curved edges on the sides which makes it easy to grab. With a weight of 188g it is lightweight and easy to hold While Realme 6i does also come with a 6.6 inch display with a full view display. Has a thickness of around 8.9mm and weighs 191g it also has round edges on the sides and has a smooth finish which makes it look very premium. Both devices look pretty premium despite having a plastic body.
Display- Realme 7i comes with HD+ Display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 getting a picture density of 269ppi. While on Realme 6i we get FHD+ display with screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and getting picture density of 405ppi. In normal conditions both the displays look very good but the display on Realme 6i looks much more colorful and saturated in comparison to Realme 7i. Text and icons does also looks much clear and sharp in comparison to Realme 7i
Camera- Realme 7i comes with a quad camera set up at the back housing 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra wide angle lens, 2 MP macro lens and 2 MP depth sensor lens. While having a 16MP camera on the front side. Camera can take good quality photos with high detailing in different lighting conditions. It comes with multiple features like HDR, Selfie portrait mode. Having different modes like face beauty, panorama, HDR, PPT, professional, videos, time-lapse photography, slow, camera filter, voice, touch, palm mode. The Realme 6i does also houses a quad camera set-up at the back but it comes with a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, 2MP depth and 2MP macro lens. There is a 16MP selfie camera with AI it also performs very good in all lighting conditions and it also provides different modes like HDR, Panorama, Beauty and many others. The front selfie camera on both the smartphones comes with AI-enhanced beautification mode works very well and is quite handy to make desirable changes manually if required.
Battery – Realme 7i is packed with 5000mAh battery which can lasts upto 17-18 hours with very heavy usage while Realme 6i comes with 4300mAh battery which can lasts upto 15-16 hours with very heavy usage. Both the smartphone supports fast charging, Realme 7i sports 18W fast charging while the Realme 6i offers 30W fast charging.
Performance– Realme 7i powered by Octacore based Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 SoC. It is accompanied by Adreno 610 GPU and has a configuration of upto 8GB of RAM and upto 128GB of onboard storage. Phone can handle gaming and heavy multitasking at ease. It boots on Realme UI based on the Android 10 operating system. While on Realme 6i you will get Octa-core based Mediatek Helio G90T SoC. Phone is configured with upto 6GB of RAM and upto 64GB of onboard storage. It provides much power for smooth multitasking and heavy gameplay.. No heating ever felt on any of the above devices while playing games or after a long use. Both the devices carry all major sensors like Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, eCompass, Gyroscope.
Our Verdict – Value for Money
Both the devices perform very well and have nice premium looks despite having a plastic body. But if we come to the camera, we liked Realme 7i in comparison to Realme 6i all thanks to the 64MP primary sensor. We also loved the display on Realme 6i in comparison to Realme 7i. In terms of performance, Realme 6i is a better option if you love to play games like PUBG or COD else both the smartphones are good for day to day tasks. As on 28th Oct 2020, Realme 7i costs Rs. 11,999 for 4GB/64GB variant while you need to shed 13,999 for Realme 6i 6GB/64GB variant.
