The very new Snapdragon 732 SoC has been announced and it is said to be an upgrade to the 730G SoC which has already made it’s presence in the smartphones like Realme X2, Oppo Reno 2, Poco X2 and Redmi Note 9 pro Max.
It is said that the new Snapdragon 732SoC brings in better performance with the help of smarter, faster artificial intelligence (AI). Besides this CPU and GPU performance will get better with the use of this latest Chipset.
As we already mentioned, Snapdragon 732G SoC is an upgrade over 730G SoC it will still be considered as the mid-range smartphone processor.
Now if we talk about good news, since Poco X3 is in the lineup so we are very confident that it might be the very first smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 732G SoC.
Poco product head Sam Jiang said, “We are extremely excited about the upcoming Poco smartphone and our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies that allowed us to create the first device on the market with the latest Snapdragon 732G Mobile Platform.” It will be a mid-range phone that will redefine “the relationship between a phone’s price and its capabilities.” It is unclear when this Poco smartphone will be released.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC Details
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC does comes with the same Qualcomm Kryo 470 CPU present in the Snapdragon 730G but with a slightly higher clock speed. The two big Kryo 470 cores now run at 2.3 GHz (+0.1 GHz over the old chip) while the Adreno 618 GPU has been boosted to deliver 15% more performance.
As per Qualcomm, the newer Snapdragon 732G SoC will offer better and improved graphics rendering when compared to the previous generation.
The latest Snapdragon brings in Snapdragon Elite Gaming which enables HDR rendering and Game Jank Reducer. New SoC does offers 4th-generation Qualcomm AI Engine which helps in intuitive interactions and predictive user experiences with distributed intelligence twice as powerful as previous generations.
With the use of latest Snapdragon 732G SoC now it will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon X15 LTE modem and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The Bluetooth will be bumped to the version 5.1 from 5.0 while features like aptX Adaptive and TrueWireless Stereo Plus remains the same. Quick charge 4+ will be supported on the newest SoC which makes it even more favourable.
