According to reports, the brand new iPhone 14 Pro models have camera issues that cause focus issues when using third-party apps. Users have reported that their iPhone 14 Pro makes a grinding noise and shakes uncontrollably when using the camera in third-party apps such as Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, and others. The problem has surfaced on the internet because many users are experiencing it, and it also makes the camera inaccessible via the aforementioned third-party apps.
The iPhone 14 Pro features Apple’s new 48MP primary camera, a long-awaited upgrade after about eight years. Apple first introduced the 12MP camera system with the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in 2014.
The iPhone 14 Pro, which recently received significant camera improvements, has encountered some pressing camera issues. Users of the iPhone 14 Pro have complained that their devices are having difficulty focusing because the camera shakes when using a third-party app such as Snapchat, TikTok, or Instagram. Users commented that this issue makes it difficult to take a clear picture.
What’s more concerning is that, in addition to the focusing issue, the iPhone 14 Pro cameras make a grinding noise. While it’s unusual for an established brand to have such a problem, a grinding noise coming from the camera raises concerns about any hardware damage.
YouTuber Luke Miani also tweeted a video in which he shows how the camera system vibrates and results in blurry images. The camera module also makes a variety of buzzing and rattling noises.
The native iOS camera app has not yet detected this issue. The physical damage that could be done to the camera module is still unknown. Apple has yet to respond to this matter.
